The Transition into and Experience of Retirement Village Living
10 am Wednesday 13 May, Hellenic Club, Woden
Once again the ACT Retirement Village Residents Association is holding our annual Forum for Retirement Village residents and seniors interested in ACT Retirement Village living. This year, the Association teamed up with Phillips Wealth Partners and KJB Law to host the event. Our venue returns to the southside at the Hellenic Club with plenty of free parking.
The Forum starts at 10 am and features a 2-hour non-stop program followed by a complimentary light lunch till 1 pm. Tea/coffee is available throughout the morning because there is no official mid-morning break.
The Hon. Tara Cheyne, ACT Attorney General will open the Forum followed by an informative program of specialists in the legal, finance, human rights fields advising on key considerations when moving into and living in a retirement village. A new ‘meet the residents’ segment features residents from different villages sharing their view of retirement village living.
An expanded exhibition area will enable you to consult several businesses and services over a complimentary lunch. Learn about the Association’s role in advising and representing retirement village residents at the ACT RVRA’s table. You can join the Association at the event.
This year’s Forum is proudly supported by Phillips Wealth Partners, KJB Law, Tetlow Legal, and the ACT Human Rights Commission. We are also very grateful to the Hellenic Club for their support.
Entry is free but a gold coin donation would be appreciated. All are welcome. Registrations are ESSENTIAL; either by email to enquiries@actrvra.org.au or phone 02 6179 603
