There is an urgent need for accurate information about the ACT Retirement Village industry. Government and policy makers acknowledge that they do not know the true situation of the number of retirement villages, the number and type of living units within each village, how many residents live in retirement villages and other factors. The ACT RVRA is currently pursuing the need to collect such information with Government, industry and community organisations.
